Frequently asked questions
Is this the official WhatsApp API?
Yes. Messages go through Meta's official WhatsApp Cloud API, and your number is connected through Meta's own signup. AutomiQ is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta.
Can I keep using the WhatsApp Business app?
Yes. Your number can stay active in the WhatsApp Business app while it's connected to the API.
What does it cost?
The Free plan is available by request. Meta charges per message under its own pricing, billed directly to your WhatsApp Business Account. AutomiQ adds no markup.
Do you store my messages?
No. The gateway forwards messages without storing their content. Only delivery metadata, such as status and timing, is logged and deleted after 90 days.
Where is my data hosted?
In the EU, in Frankfurt.
How long does onboarding take?
It mostly depends on Meta's business verification. I set up every account personally and guide you through each step.
Do I need n8n?
The AutomiQ node is built for n8n, Cloud or self-hosted. Developers can also call the AutomiQ API directly with their API key.
What is the 24-hour window?
You can reply freely within 24 hours of a customer's last message. After that, WhatsApp requires an approved template.
